Will fall back to the Ent Sports HD pack after the first month.
But of effort getting that out of them (50min on the phone) but got the in the end. Asked for a waiver of the equipment fee but was told no.
:) I've just had the old set-tops replaced with the new set-tops plus new remotes.
Everything is fine but now I would like to replace my existing TV (it's a few years old and takes a while to come on and has an annoying wavy 'smoke line' down one side).
Has anyone got a good deal on the initial fee for the multi room box?
I was lucky enough to get the main install and box for free but Telstra are wanting to charge 75 for the second box for multi room. Currently we have issues with channel 10 FTA with a lot of pixellation, all other channels are fine.
Going to give it a couple of days to see if they call back and offer something better. Someone from Foxtel called me up a couple of days later and asked why I didn't sign up. Will have to wait and see if they offer me an incentive to jump back on their gravy train I signed up today.
Got the equipment fee waived and free Platnium HD for the first month.
Just worried the owner might knock it back for some reason, although he is not going to have to any install fees or anything so can not see why it would be an issue.
Asked for a waiver of the HD fee but was told no.
Only thing I got was the platinum package for for the first month.
With Foxtel, are the FTA channels "over" the foxtel connection or are they still through my antenna ie: the same as they are now?
I guess in a nutshell I am just wanting to know if channel 10 will be a better reception with Foxtel or if there will be no difference? Cable has most of the channels, while with satellite it depends on what city you're located in Your roof aerial is not used with an IQ or IQ2 box.
